Basketry & Forge
Nordic Craft Works provides one of a kind handmade goods at an affordable price. We ship within North America (actual shipping charges only - no fees for handling) and we also welcome local pickup. We love to meet our customers! Feel free to call for an appointment.
Our aim is to promote craftmanship of a bygone era. In this age of disposable goods we take pride in our attention to detail and design. When you purchase our crafts you can be assured that all of the work is done by our own hands right here in our own small shop in Knox, New York.
We've been very fortunate to have our stock frequently sold out after craft fairs, so please inquire as to the timeframe for us to fulfill your order. Normally the baskets will ship within a week after receipt of your order and the hand forged items will ship within two weeks (sometimes sooner).

Eric graduated from the State Universtity at Albany, NY with a minor in Fine Arts. He is also a member of ABANA (The Artist-Blacksmith's Association of North America) and the Capitol District Blacksmith's Association.
One of Eric's prized possessions is his great grandfather's blacksmith's hammer that he brought with him from Ireland when he immigrated - and it's still in use today with a brand new handle to boot!
